What is the best legal representation for a VA Claim Appeal? As the question states, what is the best representation for a VA Claim Appeal? I hear a lot about the DAV. I've looked into it and noticed there is a lifetime membership fee of $250. For members of the DAV, is that fee worth it? My original claim was submitted by a VA Service Officer from Olympia, WA. She was a nice lady and I felt did an okay job, but she has since retired since my claim was put in back in October 2009 and the other lady I spoke to today at the same office seemed like she didn't really care and wasn't interested in helping me with my appeal. So I'd like to avoid her. If I could get pointed in the right direction as far as where to look for proper representation so I can get the ball rolling on this, I'd appreciate it.
