Resolved Question: Olympia 310 camera purchased in australia corrupted my pics on usa computer?

My sister bought an Olympia 310 camera in Australia. She plugged in the USB cable and uploaded the images onto my Windows Vista *boooooooo* computer here in the US. After the upload was complete all the photos in my designated 'photo' folder were corrupted. Not only the pics she uploaded, but photos i had saved from months ago were corrupted as well. Is there something I don't know about having to format an australian camera, does the software not match up?? is windows vista's brain trying to recognize the camera and it's not in it's brain file? am i making any sense? Thanks in advance for any info/suggestions/tips :) -computer illiterate in WA state some photos will not display and a message comes up saying it is corrupt, others will open but be distorted or choppy...
